Wilburn was born in Lynchburg, TN, to Frank and Geraldine Warren on November 6, 1939. He was a dedicated employee at Lamar Advertising for 53 years where he held many roles and retired as the Safety Manager in 2019. A lover of the outdoors, he found peace and joy in hunting, always embracing nature with gratitude. He also had a deep passion for old cars, taking pleasure in their history and craftsmanship. A true artist at heart, he enjoyed drawing, painting and woodworking. His hands were always busy building and creating. These simple pleasures in life were a reflection of his appreciation for the world around him.
Wilburn deeply loved his wife and family. His devotion to family was unmatched, and he always made it a priority to show up for us in every way possible to offer his unending support. His gentle nature and unwavering love made him the foundation of our family, and we always knew he would be there, cheering us on, with a smile, a witty comment, and a heart full of pride.
Though a man of few words, Wilburn’s love spoke volumes, and his quiet presence brought immense warmth to our lives. His actions were his language, and through his quiet encouragement, kindness, and presence, he touched the hearts of everyone who knew him. He was a loving husband, son, brother, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather who made all of us feel valued and cared for in the most beautiful ways.
Wilburn is survived by his wife of 65 years, Marceline Warren of Murfreesboro, daughter Tammy Warren of Murfreesboro, son Kevin Warren of Smyrna, granddaughter Brandie Phillips (David Phillips) of Murfreesboro, grandson Matthew Barrett (Amanda Barrett) of Murfreesboro, granddaughter Erica Stillwell (Josh Stillwell) of Murfreesboro, granddaughter Haleigh Warren of Murfreesboro, granddaughter Ashleigh Warren of Smyrna, great-grandsons Treyden Armstrong and Jude Phillips, great-granddaughters McKynlee Stillwell and Thea Stillwell, sister Dorothy Williams of Tullahoma, brother Bill Warren (Faye Warren) of Tullahoma, brother John Warren (Martha Warren) of Murfreesboro, sister Sandra Moffit (Larry Moffit) of McMinnville and several nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his father Frank Warren, mother Geraldine Warren and niece Debbie Davidson
