Q: What will you never forget about Eunice?
A: I will never forget all the wonderful times we all had in choir. She was so gracious with all of us because none of us were professionals but she brought out the best in us when it came to doing cantatas. Be it Christmas or Easter, she worked with us to get them to sound great. We had so many laughs and great fellowship opportunities. She and Mel served at South River Park Church in Fairhope, AL for almost 17 years and I am so glad that God sent them to us. I needed them in my life at that time and loved them so much for being there. I miss them and will continue to miss them. She and Mel were one of the best examples of what it was like to be a Christian.

Myrlene has left this world a better place. She devoted her life to the service of others and to God’s kingdom here on this earth.
Whatever she did she did she did with great care, this meant her music, food or serving others. She was a delight to be with. I will miss her friendship and her eartlhly body presences, but I am so glad she is now in Jesus’s presence, completely healed.

I will always remember Myrlene as a beautiful lady with a heart for God. I remember decades ago
when she gave me my first songs of worship book. She was encouraging me to play my flute to songs of praise.
Brenda, I wish that I could make this time easier for you and the family. You are definitely in my prayers. May God grant you strength, comfort and guide you through this journey of grief.

Myrlene had an idea for a trio of women to sing together, this was several years ago. Myrlene had Wanda Williams, Michaelle Basinger and Betty Schaefers (me) to be the women to sing. The first time we practiced together at Chula Vista it was as though we had been singing together for a long time. I enjoyed singing with those ladies, and, of course, Myrlene was our piano player. Myrlene was a very talented and beautiful lady(inside and out).
