Mildred was such a lovely lady and a loyal Democrat upon whom we could always call for support and advice. She and DeeDee were the first Democrats who befriended me when we moved here from Seattle many years ago and I treasure that friendship and her warm, generous spirit. She will be sorely missed by all of us who knew and loved her.

How we loved getting together for annual Cousins' Day. It would be about this time of year. Mildred hosted--in true Martha Stewart style--many of these luncheon get-togethers, always capably assisted by her precious sisters.
