Obituary of Robert Dean Miller Sr.

Mr. Robert (Bobby) Dean Miller, Sr., age 87, of Murfreesboro, TN passed away Friday, August 27, 2021 with his sons by his side. He was born to the late Cecil and Willie Mae Miller in Frog Jump, TN and raised in Bradyville, TN. Mr. Miller is a Veteran of the United States Army and was a member of Unity Baptist Church. He retired from General Electric. His passions were camping, the Smokey Mountains, traveling the United States and his love for his “Josie”, children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. Mr. Miller is survived by his wife of 62 years, Joselle Campbell Miller; son, Robert Miller, Jr and his wife Donna; son, Kevin Miller and his life partner Theresa; son, Scoty Miller and his wife Kim all of Murfreesboro; grandson, Robby Miller and his wife Christy; granddaughters Megan Miller, Madison Lee and her husband Andrew; Rachel Green and her husband Gavin Lees; Emily Rice and her husband Andrew; and Miranda Bolinger. Great grand children Ephram, Baylee, Presley, River, Miller, Raelynn and beloved cat Hemi. His sisters Alice Johnson, Nancy Mathis, Joy Bush, Sandy Brandon, Linda Todd and brother Lowell Miller. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sisters Connie McGill, Marjorie Farr and brother Cecil Miller, Jr. Visitation will be at Murfreesboro Funeral Home Sunday, August 29th 4-8 PM and Monday, August 30th 12-2 PM with funeral service at 2:00 PM. Graveside service will follow at Robinson Ridge Cemetery in Beechgrove, TN.
