Lewie Brown Nokes, age 93 of Murfreesboro, TN went home to the Lord on Friday, December 11, 2020.
Born on February 27, 1927 in Liberty, TN to the late James Birl and Athalene Hill Nokes. Also preceded in death by his brother; J.B. Nokes.
He is survived by his loving wife of 73 years, Vivian Melton Nokes, daughters; Susan Nokes, Tammy Nokes, grandchildren; Brett Nokes and Alexis (Najee) Wooten.
Visitation with the family will be held at Murfreesboro Funeral Home on Sunday, December 13, 2020 from 2pm – 8pm. Services will be held on Monday, December 14, 2020 at 11am. Interment will be at Riverside Cemetery in Woodbury, TN with Bros. Tom Haddon and Larry Acuff officiating.
