Troy James Leophard was born Dec 25, 1940 in Waynesville, NC and he passed away at his home in Murfreesboro, TN on Sunday, January 31, 2016 at the age of 75. His occupation was being a Truck Driver where he retired from working at Consolidated Freightways for 34 years. He took up fishing with his wife and spending time with his grandchildren. His other hobbies include riding Motorcycles and working with horses. He was preceded in death by his parents Robert and MaryBallew. Survivors include his wife Melinda Lee Leophard of Murfreesboro, TN; children Robert Leophard of Murfreesboro, TN, Christina Rogers and Carl Porter of Murfreesboro, TN, Lance and Kristen Leophard of Bellevue, TN, and Adrienne and Mike Burnett of Murfreesboro, TN; grandchildren Carl Porter Jr, Dylan Porter, Hannah Porter, Ava Burnette and Hadlee Burnett. All of Murfreesboro, TN. Memorial Service will be on Thursday, February 4, 2016, 5-6pm at Murfreesboro Funeral Home (145 Innsbrooke Blvd. Murfreesboro, TN 37127) with Pastor Roy Robinson officiating. Murfreesboro Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
