Obituary of Aline Barrett Faulkner

Aline Barrett Faulkner has passed from this world to be with her precious Savior, Jesus Christ. She was born January 16, 1932 in Cannon County. Her faith and love for Jesus Christ gave her tremendous strength to fight and win her battle with cancer. She passed away on Tuesday, August 18, 2015 at St. Thomas Rutherford Hospital from complications of pneumonia at the age of 83. Mrs. Aline was the daughter of Charlie and Maudy Chumley Barrett. Aline married Aaron in 1954. The devoted love Aline and Aaron have for each other blessed them with 3 children, 8 grandchildren, and 14 great-grandchildren. She was the most loving, kind and diligent mother, grandmother and wife. She was a member of the Bellwood Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her Parents, Sister, Lorene Parker, Granddaughter, Carrie Faulkner Sells and Daughter-in-law Nada Faulkner. Her living family include her Husband, Aaron W. Faulkner of Murfreesboro, Son, Roger W. Faulkner of Murfreesboro. Two Daughters, Becky Faulkner (David) Ferrell and Donna (Bill) Freeman both of Murfreesboro. Sister, Mary (Gene) Taylor of Statesville, TN. Grandsons, Nicholas (Chantelle) Parker, Joshua Cooper, Guy (Melanie) Freeman and Wesley (Hannah) Freeman. Granddaughters, Stacy Freeman, Katy Faulkner (Michael) Rea and Jenny Faulkner. Great-grandchildren, Desteney, Ivy, Kristen, Dominic, Avary, Braxton, Brennon, Brooklyn, Stella, Brantley, Matthew, Sydney, Hudson and Lochlan. Visitation will be Thursday, August 20, 2015 4-7 pm and again on Friday, August 21, 2015 10 am-12 noon at Murfreesboro Funeral Home, 145 Innsbrooke Blvd., Murfreesboro 37128. Funeral Services to remember and celebrate her life will be conducted at 12 noon on Friday in the Chapel of Murfreesboro Funeral Home by Chaplain Joel Reynolds officiating, with internment in Coleman Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Nicholas Parker, Bill Freeman, Joshua Cooper, Guy Freeman, Jerry Bush and Marty Taylor.
