Mr. Clifford Ernest Reed was born November 1, 1951 in Detroit, MI and he passed away on Sunday, June 28, 2015 at his residence in Murfreesboro at the age of 63. Clifford was the son of Elijah and Myrtle Reed and was a retired truck driver with over 1 million safe road miles. Mr. Reed was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Ruthann Berry. Survivors include his wife, Martha Miller Reed of Murfreesboro; brothers, Calvin (Julie) Reed of Florida, and Bob (Jocelyn) Reed of Lascassas; sister, Dorothy (John) Stus of Michigan; nieces, Sonia, Charlene, Debbie, Tammy, Amanda, Dawn and Wendy; nephews, Steven, Darius and Mike. Other survivors are his godson, Rylan Rees and his mother Ashleigh Sanders Visitation will be on Sunday, July 5, 2015 4-8 pm at Murfreesboro Funeral Home. Funeral services will be conducted on Monday, July 6, 2015 at 1 PM in the Chapel of Murfreesboro Funeral Home with Bro. Nathan Hale officiating. Burial will follow in Boonesville Cemetery in Lincoln County.
