Dorothy Ann Curlee Lokey age 73, died April 12, 2015 at her home in Murfreesboro. Dorothy was born on June 21, 1941 in Murfreesboro to Ernest Holmes Curlee and Nancy Elizabeth Stem Curlee. She was a housewife and a member of the Baptist church. Dorothy was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Elmore Clayton Lokey who passed away October 4, 2006, three brothers, William, Donald, and Ernest Curlee, and one sister Betty Murphy. Survivors include a son, Kenneth Wayne (Jill) Williamson, Jr. of Christiana; daughters, Janie Marie (Edward) Lokey of Murfreesboro, Leigh Ann (Tracy) Pugh of Shelbyville; three step-sons, Jerry (Penny) Lokey, Tillman (Jo Ann) Lokey and Terry (Diane) Lokey; two sisters, Rachel Watson of Murfreesboro and Elizabeth Scott of Christiana. Seven grandchildren also survive. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, April 15, 2015 from 4:00 pm until 8:00 pm at Murfreesboro Funeral Home. Funeral services will be on Thursday, April 16, 2015 at 1:00 pm in the Chapel of Murfreesboro Funeral Home with Brother Larry Gipson officiating. Burial will be in Whitworth Cemetery in Christiana.
