Claudia Virginia Guthrie, 93, passed away Friday, December 19, 2014 at Stones River Manor in Murfreesboro. She was born March 14, 1921 to Ernest D. and Delia Price Scribner in Marshall County Tennessee. Mrs. Guthrie was a member of Hickory Heights Church of Christ and a retired movie theater bookkeeper. Mrs. Guthrie was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Lawrence Guthrie and two brothers, John and Preston Scribner. She is survived by her son, Gary (Dianne) Guthrie of Murfreesboro; grandson, Chris (Rachel) Guthrie of Brentwood; granddaughter, Gina (Bill) Bradshaw of Nashville; and five great grandchildren, Benjamin, Samuel, Allie, Ryan and Reid, also survives. Visitation will be held on Sunday, December 21, 2014 from 1:30 pm until 2:30 pm at Hickory Heights Church of Christ in Lewisburg, TN. Funeral Services will be held at 2:30 pm on Sunday with Brother Tony Lancaster officiating. Burial will be in Lone Oak Cemetery in Lewisburg.
