Douglas Leon Cannon, age 63, of Murfreesboro, passed away Monday, September 18, 2006 at Baptist Hospital. Born in Blount County, TN, he lived in Murfreesboro. He will be dearly missed as the loving husband, father and grandfather that he was. Mr. Cannon was preceded in death by his parents, Leon and Myrtis Ruth Fields Cannon; brother, Larry Cannon. He is survived by his wife, Terry Cannon of Murfreesboro; daughters, Cheryl (Manoj) Kumar of Murfreesboro and Vanessa (Mark) Rohrs of Lincoln, Nebraska; son, Frank (Gwen) Brown of Darkmouth, Mass; brother, Jerry (Betty) Cannon of Knoxville; sisters, Brenda (Jim) Tankersley of Knoxville and Virginia Shephard of Lenoir City; 4 grandchildren, Jordan Campbell, Andrew Brown, Austin Brown and Elliott Rohrs, several nieces and nephews. Visitation with the family will be Wednesday, September 20, 2006 beginning at 3:30 pm until 5:00 pm. Services will be at 5:00 pm, Wednesday, September 20, 2006 at Murfreesboro Funeral Home.
