Obituary of Clarence Chesnutt Jr

Clarence Chesnutt, Jr., age 81, of Murfreesboro passed away Friday, April 27, 2007 at his home. Mr. Chesnutt was a native of Winchester, TN, a veteran of the United States Army and Navy. He was a member of the First Baptist Church in Murfreesboro serving as a deacon and a Sunday school class teacher of the First Baptist Mens Fellowship Class. He did mission work in Kenya Comoras Island, India, Prince Edward Island and served on the Southern Baptist International Mission Board. Mr. Chesnutt was preceded in death by his parents, Clarence Sr and Willie Lee Chesnutt; son, Philip Chesnutt; brothers, Raymond and Bill Chesnutt. Mr. Chesnutt is survived by his wife, Natalie Chesnutt of Murfreesboro; sons, Rod (Jennifer) Chesnutt of Florida, Ted (Cheryl) Chesnutt of Murfreesboro, Peter (Christa) Chesnutt of Seamore, TN; daughter, Benecia Chesnutt of Murfreesboro; grandchildren, Alex, Claire, Caroline, Rachael, Laura Chesnutt. Visitation with the family will be Sunday, April 29, 2007 at 1:30 pm until services at the Murfreesboro Funeral Home. Memorial services will be at 3:00 pm Sunday, April 29, 2007 at Murfreesboro Funeral Home with Dr. Gene Cotey officiating. Honorary pallbearers will be First Baptist Mens Fellowship Class.
