Mary Frances Combs, age 85, of Murfreesboro, passed away Saturday, February 02, 2008 at United Regional Nursing Home. Mrs. Combs was a born in Nashville to the late Harry Smith and Hattie Belle Smith Bates. She was longtime resident of Murfreesboro. She retired from Briskin Manufacturing.
Mrs. Combs is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Charlie Combs; brothers, Eugene "Dink" Temple, James Smith and Harry Smith. She is survived by her son, Ronnie (Carol Jo) Combs of Murfreesboro; daughter, Kim Combs of Nashville; niece, Marie Cundall of Mt. Juliet; nephew, James Temple of FL; grandchildren, Brittany (Jeremy) Drebenstedt of Smyrna, Devon Combs and Renee Combs; great grandchild, Chloe. The family will receive friends Monday, February 4, 2008 from 4:00 pm until 8:00 p.m. at Murfreesboro Funeral Home. Entombment services will be 11:30 am Wednesday, February 6, 2008 at Woodlawn Memorial Park.
