Obituary of Teresa Lynn Rivera

Teresa Lynn Rivera age 53 of Christiana passed away Monday April 23, 2018. A native of Flint, Michigan she was the daughter of the late Truman Esley Purdy and is survived by her mother; Evangelynn Wilson Nixten of Smyrna. She is also preceded in death by a granddaughter; Miracle Reyer.

Mrs. Rivera is survived by her husband; Emerito Rivera, Jr., daughters; Sarah (Brandon) Reyer of Mt. Juliet, Alena Rivera of Christiana, son; David Rivera of Michigan and 3 grandchildren; Falicidey, Drayden and Harmony Rivera. She is also survived by 3 sisters; Debra Staggs, Marie Myrick, Gaylene Shipp all of Alabama and 2 brothers; Allen Wilson of Smyrna and Tim Purdy of Alabama.

Visitation will be Saturday May 5, 2018 from 10:00AM until time of Memorial Service at 1:00PM at Murfreesboro Funeral Home.
