Obituary of Mattie White Young

Mattie White Young age 66 of Murfreesboro passed away Tuesday September 12, 2017. A native of Rutherford County she was the daughter of the late Tommie and Myrtle Smith Webb. She is also preceded in death by a brother; Wayne Webb.

Mrs. Young was a loving housewife and mother to her family. She is survived by her husband of 48 years; David Franklin Young, son; Todd Young of Louisville, Kentucky, daughters; Kimberly Young-Lewis and Elicia Young both of Murfreesboro and 4 grandchildren; Cassidy Young, Caila Young, Bryce Lewis and Elexis Young. She is also survived by her brother; Jerry Webb and his wife Linda and her sister; Brenda Ritenour both of Murfreesboro.

Mrs. Young was a member of Kingdom Ministry’s. Visitation will be 4:00PM until 8:00PM Thursday at Murfreesboro Funeral Home. Funeral services will be 11:00AM Friday at Murfreesboro Funeral Home with Pastor Daryl Whaley officiating. Burial will follow in Roselawn Memorial Gardens with family and friends serving as pallbearers.
