Obituary of Cecil Earp
Cecil “Gene” Earp, age 75 of Murfreesboro, Tennessee passed away on Saturday, July 1, 2017.
Survived by his wife: Olivia Earp, daughters: Kimberly (William) Alford and Tamela (David) Oliver, grandchildren: Chelsie Maner, and Megan (Kolbi Reed) Oliver, great grandchildren: Jaylen and Leilah Maner, Paisley and Brecklynn Reed, and sister: Margie Koegler.
Preceded by sisters: Betty Dodd, Helen Fathera, and Marie Speck.
Gene worked at the City of Murfreesboro in the Parks and Recreation Department and Umpired softball for 37 years in both the city and county schools and city parks.
Visitation will be Sunday, July 2, 2017 from 4-8 pm and Monday July 3, 2017 from 12-3pm with service to follow at 3pm at Murfreesboro Funeral Home. Interment will be at Coleman Cemetery.
Friends and family will be pallbearers.
