Buretta Scott Moore, 90, of Garrett, KY, left this world on March 24th to join our father and her husband of 56 years, Arthur Harley Moore. She was born at Garrett, KY, on March 8, 1927 to Hawley and Effie Hicks Scott, and the oldest of what would become 13 children. Before retiring she was a pharmacy technician, and a clerk at her father’s country store. She is survived by her two sons, Ronnie and wife Kathy Moore of Knoxville, TN, and Randy and wife Linda Moore of Murfreesboro, TN; Four brothers, Ralph, David, Thomas, and Harold Scott and one sister, Joan Martin; six grandchildren, two step-grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband Arthur Harley Moore, brothers Keith, James, and Charles Scott, and sisters, Betty Hopper, Sue Osborne, Brenda Lawson, Shirley Jenkins, and one great grandchild, Andrew Charles Robinson. She was a member Martin Branch Free Will Baptist Church, and a member of the Easter Star in Wayland, KY, and so funeral services will be conducted at the Hall Funeral Home in Martin, KY, on March 29 at 10:00 am. Burial will follow in the Davidson Memorial Gardens next to our Dad under the direction of Hall Funeral Home. Visitation will be at 6pm on March 28 at the funeral home.
