Franklin D. Jones, age 83 years passed away Tuesday, December 27, 2016.
Preceded in death by parents Lemuel Everett and Sarah Nevills Jones, sisters Alice O. Robinson and Virginia Childes, brothers Lemuel, Carl, Raymond and Robert Jones.
Survived by wife Una E. Jones, son Jerry W. Jones, Murfreesboro, TN, daughters Sarah Frazier and Alice “Debbie” Murphy both of Hohenwald, TN, sisters Lorain Stephens and Catherine Simmons both of Linden, TN, 7 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren. Mr. Jones retired from U.S. Air Force and was a member of First United Pentecostal Church in Murfreesboro TN.
Funeral services will be held 11 am Friday, December 30, 2016 at Murfreesboro Funeral Home. Interment to follow at Mapleview Cemetery, Smyrna, TN
Visitation with the family will be on Thursday, December 29, 2016 from 5-7pm at Murfreesboro Funeral Home.
