Obituary of Patricia Ann Morbitt Mindigo

Patricia “Patti” Ann Morbitt Mindigo of Murfreesboro, passed away Saturday, June 11 at the age of 66 after a courageous battle with cancer. A native of Columbus, Ohio, Patti was a teacher for twenty years before moving to Tennessee where she was self-employed and devoted her time to raise her son as well as many years of volunteerism to the education, church, and civic community. Preceded in death by her parents, Tony and Eileen Morbitt and sister, Marlene. Survived by her son, Michael (Diana); grandchildren, Will and Lily Kate; sister, Benni (Van); niece, Katie; nephews, Trey (Jamie) and Scott; brother-in-law, Gary (Marlene), hundreds of cousins and dear friends in Ohio and Murfreesboro. A Celebration of Life Service will be held at Murfreesboro Funeral Home Saturday, June 18, 2016, at 1:30 pm immediately followed by a visitation with family. In lieu of flowers, request for donations to the Activity Center at Boulevard Terrace Nursing and Rehabilitation Center and Sarah Cannon Fund.
