Sarah (Sally) Elizabeth VanScoy Zapotocky 95 of Murfreesboro passed away Tuesday, January 29, 2013 at Community Care of Rutherford County. Mrs. Zapotocky was born in Moosic, PA to the late William and Elizabeth VanScoy. She was owner of Finch’s Market in Binghamton, NY and was a member of North Minister Presbyterian Church. Mrs. Zapotocky was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Peter Zapotocky; brothers, Samuel, Harold, Bill, Bernie, and Floyd VanScoy; and sister, Peggy Summers. She is survived by her son, Bill (Sarah) Zapotocky of Murfreesboro; grandchildren, Michael (Jennifer) Zapotocky; Bryan (Kelly) Zapotocky, both of Murfreesboro; great grandchildren, Vincent Zapotocky; Katie Zapotocky; Willie Zapotocky; Kayley Horack; several nieces and nephews. Visitation with the family will be Wednesday, January 30, 2013 from 4:00pm – 8:00pm at Murfreesboro Funeral Home.

Funeral service will be Thursday, January 31, 2013 at 1:00pm at Murfreesboro Funeral Home with Chaplain Marshall Gupton officiating. Burial to follow at Roselawn Memorial Gardens.
